Brittany K. Lazzaro is an associate in the Litigation practice. Brittany represents an array of clients in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, partnership and business disputes, labor and employment disputes, intellectual property matters and real estate disputes, including those arising within condominiums and cooperatives. Brittany has represented a wide range of clients ranging from individuals to large corporations and financial institutions.
Brittany is actively involved in all stages of litigation, from initial case analysis and strategy through trial. She has a wealth of experience handling the discovery phase of matters and conducting complex research and writing on an array of emerging legal concepts to prepare pleadings, motions and appellate briefs. Brittany regularly analyzes and interprets agreements, such as, business/partnership agreements, alteration agreements, sponsorship agreements, leases, mortgages and insurance agreements, among others.
Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Brittany was a law clerk at the firm. She was also an intern with the in-house legal departments at Staples, Inc. and BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc., and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul Wooten of the New York Supreme Court.
While a student at Northeastern University School of Law, Brittany was a Lawyering Fellow, where she was selected as a student instructor for a required first-year course focusing on research, writing and critical legal practice skills. She was active on campus in other roles, serving as co-founder and co-chair of the Real Estate Law Society and senior staffer of the Northeastern University Law Review.
