Maxwell D. Rosenthal is an Associate at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP in the Labor and Employment Practice.  From day-to-day counseling to complex litigation, he represents companies and high-level executives in industries including professional services, financial services, manufacturing/industrial supplies, hospitality, moving and storage, real estate, consumer goods and transportation/logistics.

Max regularly appears in state and federal courts in New York and Connecticut to litigate employment discrimination and retaliation claims, unfair competition, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, employment agreements and executive compensation issues, wage and hour issues, and unpaid benefit fund contribution matters under ERISA.  He also handles traditional labor relations including union representation campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, discipline and grievance arbitrations, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Max also represents clients in their general commercial disputes involving breach of contract, corporate governance, partnership and shareholder issues, business fraud, negligence, unfair competition, defense of consumer protection claims and real property litigation.

As an undergraduate, Max was an Honor Athlete as a member of the University of Maryland Varsity Football Team.

Community Involvement

Max is a Volunteer Mentor and Program Associate for the Development School for Youth (DSY), an innovative leadership and business training program that prepares inner-city youth to enter the professional workforce.  In his role with the DSY, Max leads the firm’s participation including managing the firm’s summer DSY internship and coordinating mock interviews with DSY students and the firm’s attorneys.
