Stefanie Marrone, Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Director of Business Development and Marketing, was recently featured on the Ackert Inc.’s Market Leaders Podcast hosted by David Ackert. Stefanie discussed how she has built a strong strategic marketing and BD program at leading mid-size firm Tarter Krinsky & Drogin. Stefanie noted that how she has closely worked with the firm managing partner Alan Tarter to develop a number of initiatives to give lawyers at TKD the tools to succeed in lead generation and client retention.
At the cornerstone of these efforts is a business development pipeline lead generation program open to lawyers of every level, which focuses on best practices for cross-selling, client service, content generation, social media marketing, and online and in-person networking. As Stefanie described, "the program provides lawyers with the critical skills they will need today and tomorrow to generate new business and develop stronger professional relationships.” She also went on to say that one of the most critical elements is accountability and doing what you say you’re going to do, "If you don’t make time for business development, you won’t be successful at it.” Listen to the full podcast.
