Debra Bodian Bernstein is Counsel to Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. She joined the firm in 2002, having practiced in the area of commercial litigation since 1990. She has handled a wide array of complex business disputes and other matters from inception through trial and appeal, including contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, mortgage foreclosures, mortgage fraud litigation, title insurance claims and other real property matters, attorney malpractice, trademark and copyright infringement, libel and employment discrimination litigation.
Ms. Bernstein is a member of the New York State and New York City Bar Associations. She has moderated various programs and actively served on several committees of the New York City Bar Association, including, most recently, the Real Property Law Committee. In addition, she has published articles in the New York Law Journal and has participated in the City Bar Association’s Monday Night LAW program, providing legal advice to the community.
Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, Ms. Bernstein was associated with boutique New York law firms specializing in litigation. She began her legal career as a litigation associate in the New York office of Winston & Strawn.
