Edward Farrell - Partner
Edward Farrell is a Partner at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. Mr. Farrell joined the firm in 2002 and focuses in the areas of transactional real estate and mortgage finance. He has practiced law since 1990 and has broad experience in various types of real estate transactions. He represents large institutional lenders in mortgage loan transactions as well as purchasers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate. He also has substantial experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and handling mortgage foreclosure litigation cases.
Mr. Farrell has represented real estate developers in the acquisition of commercial buildings which have been converted into residential condominium units and in the preparation of offering plans for the sale of residential condominium units.
He wrote “Selling After Death of An Owner”, which was published in the New York Law Journal in 2005 and co-authored “Defining Contractual Best Efforts” which was published in the New York Law Journal in 2008.
Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, he was an associate at Jaspan Schlesinger Hoffman LLP. Mr. Farrell earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John's University. He is a member of the New York City and New York State, New Jersey and American Bar Associations.
