Catherine M. Ferrara – Associate

Catherine M. Ferrara is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. She represents religious orders and charitable institutions, and assists in the representation of Iona College with a focus in the areas of labor and employment, education and not-for-profit law.

Ms. Ferrara has represented clients in federal and state courts throughout the United States, participated in jury research and successfully negotiated many settlements. She is experienced in all aspects of discovery and motion practice. Representations handled by Ms. Ferrara include:

  • Serving as the Case Managing Attorney for a major tobacco company in defense of individual smoking and health cases in New York County.
  • Representing one of the three national credit reporting bureaus in cases arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Defending one of the largest paint manufacturing companies in the world in lead-paint exposure cases.
  • Representing religious orders and other religious and charitable organizations and institutions.

Ms. Ferrara is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Ms. Ferrara was an Associate in the New York City office of Jones Day, where she practiced in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation and products liability.
