Edward R. Finkelstein - Counsel
Edward R. Finkelstein serves as Counsel at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. He has practiced law since 1989 with particular focus in real estate and title defense-related litigation including matters involving mortgage fraud and equity stripping, and general commercial matters including corporate litigation, asset recovery and mediation.

Mr. Finkelstein has worked on several landmark cases throughout his career including: Kleinser v. Rockrimmon Securities; PEM America v. Lambert; Citibank, N.A. v. Chicago Title Insurance Co.; and Fleet Credit Corp. v. Cabin Service Co.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, Mr. Finkelstein was employed by several top New York City firms including Chadbourne & Parke LLP, Moses & Singer LLP and Sexter & Warmflash, P.C.

Mr. Finkelstein earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Yeshiva University where he earned the Churgin Award for Excellence in history. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on its Legislative Committee on Real Property and is also a member of the New York State Land Title Association. He has also written numerous articles that have appeared in legal publications such as The Cooperator, as well as a non law related satirical piece printed in The Jewish Press. Some of Mr. Finkelstein’s hobbies include studying history, writing, and standup comedy.
