Eric H. Horn – Counsel

Eric Horn is Counsel at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice Group. His experience includes representation of debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees, trade creditors, financially distressed companies, buyers of distressed assets and debt, secured lenders, and landlords.

Mr. Horn began his career in law and focus on corporate reorganization and bankruptcy as an associate at Sidley Austin LLP and later joined Lowenstein Sandler PC where he was counsel. Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Mr. Horn was a senior trader and analyst at a fund with an investment focus on distressed debt. At the fund, Mr. Horn was responsible for managing investment opportunities in numerous bankruptcy, SIPA, and/or other insolvency proceedings spanning a variety of sectors including finance, retail, and energy. 

Mr. Horn is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and has been a contributing editor and author for their Second Circuit Update. He has also co-authored articles on various bankruptcy topics for trade journals and has spoken on matters relating to bankruptcy and corporate reorganization at industry seminars. In 2009, Mr. Horn was recognized in the Rising Stars section of New Jersey Super Lawyers. While pursuing his Juris Doctor at Fordham University, he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
