Roxanne H. Levine – Partner

Roxanne H. Levine is a Partner in the Immigration Practice Group at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. She has over 25 years experience representing major multinational financial institutions, corporations, banks, universities, and cultural institutions, as well as leading energy companies, the hospitality industry, and not-for-profit institutions. She has also represented individuals, including entrepreneurs, artists, performers, and entertainers.

Ms. Levine has counseled corporate and individual clients relating to all types of immigration matters, including:

  • Nonimmigrant and immigrant visa issues
  • Permanent residence processing for extraordinary foreign nationals
  • Priority worker petitions for executives and managerial staff
  • PERM processing
  • Consular practice
  • Waivers and criminal matters affecting immigration to the U.S.
  • Complex citizenship matters
  • Renunciation of residence and relinquishment of citizenship issues
  • Corporate and I-9 compliance
  • Advising legal departments and human resource personnel on hiring practices
  • Family and adoption issues relating to U.S. immigration
  • Immigration for religious workers and not-for-profit educational and cultural institutions

Ms. Levine also specializes in providing guidance to corporations in the creation of policies and programs applicable to the hiring of foreign national personnel; recordkeeping and compliance programs developed in accordance with U.S. immigration and nationality law requirements; and, addressing issues arising from corporate mergers and takeovers.

Ms. Levine has lectured frequently to foreign banking groups, international chambers of commerce, religious organizations, au pair organizations in the U.S., and universities and colleges. She has co-authored chapters in textbooks and has published many articles on U.S. immigration and nationality law. She is active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and co-chairs the Corporate Immigration Practice Group of the New York Chapter of AILA. She serves as a mentor to students at Touro Law School, and is a member of Touro’s Alumni Council. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Westchester Day School in Mamaroneck, NY, and contributes time to the Windward School in White Plains, NY, as well as to other not-for-profit institutions. Ms. Levine is fluent in Hebrew.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Ms. Levine was a partner at Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., a boutique immigration law practice in New York.
