Heather R. Ohlberg is an Associate at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP in the Construction and Real Estate Practice Groups. Her practice focuses on drafting construction agreements, leases and other agreements for clients, and resolving and litigating complex construction- and design-related disputes. She also works with other attorneys in the Construction and Real Estate Practice Groups in negotiating and structuring major real estate projects, leases, financing documents and other agreements.

In addition, Ms. Ohlberg has worked with government agencies to successfully develop projects using governmental subsidies, tax credits and municipal bonds. Highlights of her recent cases and transactions include:

• Defending a contractor in a bid protest commenced by the second lowest bidder in connection with a multi-million dollar public contract.
• Representing a large developer in negotiating and drafting construction contracts and long-term commercial leases.
• Representing a sponsor in drafting the offering plan for a mixed-use condominium development and in the sale of the residential and commercial units.
• Successfully arguing tax certiorari cases before the New York City Tax Commission, resulting in large reductions in assessed property values and savings on property taxes.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ohlberg was an Associate at Stempel Bennett Claman & Hochberg, P.C. in New York and at Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP in White Plains.

Ms. Ohlberg is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
