Linda Singer Roth is a Partner at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP.. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and, since 1984, has prosecuted and defended numerous matters involving claims for breach of contract, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets and fraud. Although Ms. Roth often litigates in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey where she is admitted to practice, she is equally comfortable representing clients in alternative dispute resolution forums such as arbitrations and mediations.
Ms. Roth’s representative cases include:
- Prosecuting claims on behalf of a national insurance company against a computer software developer who intentionally failed to deliver a customized computer software system.
- Defending a cellular telephone company accused of making negligent and intentional misrepresentations by failing to properly disclose its practice of rounding-up airtime charges.
- Representing a Major League Baseball team sued by a player who was released from one of its farm teams.
- Representing a real estate developer in an action brought by a community civil rights organization claiming that the State of New Jersey regularly engaged in discrimination by awarding federal tax credits to real estate developers who developed low-income housing in urban rather than suburban locations.
Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Ms. Roth was Senior Counsel at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, where, for 15 years, she was a member of the litigation and intellectual property practice groups. After leaving Fulbright she spent four years managing her own general practice and joined Tarter Krinsky & Drogin in 2006.
