Tara Toevs - Associate
 Tara Toevs is an Associate at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. She specializes in the field of labor and employment law and related litigation. She has experience in the defense of management clients in labor and employment-related litigation and proceedings before various state and federal administrative agencies in defense of wage/hour and individual employment discrimination matters. Ms. Toevs also has experience in traditional labor matters such as collective bargaining negotiations, grievance procedures and arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and the New York State Employment Relations Board.
Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, Ms. Toevs was a member of the attorney recruiting department for the Washington, D.C. office of Jones Day and served as a document specialist for the International Children’s Alliance.
Ms. Toevs earned her Juris Doctor from the Nova Southeastern University Law Center, where she was the President and Founding Member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and a Founding Editor of the ALWD International Citator & Research Manual. Ms. Toevs is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is also a member of the New York City Bar, the New York County Lawyers’ Association and its Labor Relations & Employment Law Committee and the New York State Bar Association.
