TKD Obtains Dismissal of Federal Lawsuit
TKD recently obtained dismissal of a federal lawsuit brought by a plaintiff against our client, a mortgage lender, and other defendants. The plaintiff asserted claims for fraud, conspiracy, violations of the U.S. Constitution and various federal lending laws. A federal court in New York granted motions by TKD and counsel for the other defendants to dismiss the lawsuit, and refused to allow the plaintiff to amend or replead the claims because they were frivolous and devoid of merit. Counsel Edward R. Finkelstein handled this matter.
