A+ for TKD’s Internship Program with Nova Southeastern University Law Center

Over the past eight years, TKD has worked with the unique Clinical Semester Program of Nova Southeastern University to bring third-year law students to New York from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

During their semester at the firm, the students work full-time in various practice groups to gain exposure to different areas of the law. They benefit from in-depth, "hands-on" experience and one-on-one mentoring from a supervising attorney. While the students are interning with the firm, gaining valuable knowledge from our diverse practice groups, they are also earning their final credits toward J.D. degrees. This semester we have been pleased to welcome Nova intern Greg Skiff, who will be with us through April 18.

The Nova program has been so successful that two former interns, Tara Toevs and Jason Evans, were recruited by the firm as first-year associates. “We highly value the relationship we’ve built with Nova, and we look forward to many more years of mentoring promising legal talent,” says Managing Partner Alan M. Tarter.
