TKD Obtains Favorable Decision in Lease Termination Case
After a two-day trial, Judge Ira Gammerman of the New York State Supreme Court found that Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s clients were not liable to their former landlord for more than one year’s rent after they vacated their premises.
Judge Gammerman ruled that TKD’s clients had complied with a contested lease rider permitting early termination of the lease. He found that their testimony was credible in all respects and that the landlord’s assertion that the lease rider had been forged was not credible.
