William W. Weisner, a Partner in Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Real Estate and Construction Practice Groups, represented a major software development company on the design and construction contracts for a 200,000-square-foot office building that recently achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, the highest rating given by the U.S. Green Building Council. The building is the largest LEED-certified facility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The four-story structure, which opened in 2009, uses a state-of-the-art water management system as well as energy-saving features that make it one-third more efficient than conventional buildings. Mr. Weisner also provided counsel on the design and construction contracts for an earlier LEED-certified building on the same campus.
