TKD Partners Speak at Seminar on Stalled Construction Sites

Tarter Krinsky & Drogin Partners William W. Weisner and David J. Pfeffer spoke at a seminar on April 13 on “Stalled Sites:  Options and Opportunities.”  Mr. Weisner moderated the seminar, drawing upon his background in handling commercial real estate matters for lenders, developers, investors, landlords and tenants nationwide; and Mr. Pfeffer, co-chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, was a panelist.

The seminar, sponsored by the Greater New York Construction User Council for owners and users of construction and construction-related services, presented the insights of owners, lenders and attorneys who are experienced in working with challenged developments and stalled projects.  Panelists addressed the state of today’s development landscape and the status of stalled construction sites throughout New York City, as well as new local laws designed to aid stalled developments.

In addition to Mr. Pfeffer, panelists included:  Kenneth Cohen, Senior Vice President and Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Sterling National Bank; Robert D. LiMandri, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Buildings; and Jacob L. Sacks, Principal of Cayuga Capital Management LLC.
