Richard Steer, a Partner in Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, has recently given seminars for Citibank and the New York Staffing Association.

At an evening seminar for customers of Citibank Commercial Banking, Mr. Steer discussed “Current Hot Topics in Labor and Employment Law,” including:

Mr. Steer also spoke at a New York Staffing Association breakfast seminar on “Hiring Issues and Risk Management,” where he covered:

• New York correction law issues regarding hiring individuals with criminal convictions.
• Legal and illegal inquiries in interviews and advertisements.

• Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).

Mr. Steer heads Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s EPLI practice area and has acted as trial counsel in a number of important discrimination cases for Fortune 500 companies and public sector jurisdictions.
