Akansha Chandra is an Associate in the Firm’s Construction Practice. She represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and sureties in public and private construction disputes involving claims for breach of contract, payment disputes, project delays, differing site conditions, extra work/change order disputes, mechanic’s liens, bond claims, trust fund claims, and claims arising under the New York Labor Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Her experience includes drafting pleadings, appellate filings, settlement agreements, and  dispositive and non-dispositive motions including, without limitation, discovery-related motions, motions seeking  dismissal, summary  judgment, and default, as well as orders to show cause seeking temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions. She has also prepared mediation statements, arbitration submissions, and settlement agreements.
