Rosanna Roizin is a partner in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice. Rosanna focuses her practice in the areas of elder care, special needs, and traditional trusts and estates planning. Through a detailed and compassionate approach, Rosanna works to ensure that her clients are empowered in their needs by understanding their options on planning their families’ future.
As a legal advisor, Rosanna serves families as they navigate through difficult moments. Rosanna represents individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, including last wills and testaments, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable gift planning, business succession for solo business owners and creative professionals, probate and administration of estates, long-term care planning and disability planning, Article 81 and 17a guardianship proceedings, and special needs planning.
Additionally, Rosanna is on the Part 36 Fiduciary list in New York City and is often appointed by New York City Judges in Article 81 Guardianship matters as either Counsel to Guardian, Attorney for Alleged Incapacitated Person, Court Evaluator, or Temporary or Permanent Guardian.
As part of her commitment to the industry, Rosanna provided legal assistance to indigent seniors at a community center in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn through a grant sponsored by New York City Councilman Chaim Deutsch. Rosanna educates professionals, families, and institutions on issues related to retirement planning, estate planning, and special needs planning. Notably, Rosanna has been recognized for her service in her community, receiving a Proclamation from City Councilmen Mark Treyger and Chaim Deutsch in 2018 and a Commendation from New York City Comptroller John C. Liu in 2013.
