Samantha Andreacchi is an Associate in the Firm’s Intellectual Property - Trademark Practice and the Commercial Agreements Practice.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Samantha worked as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) where she reviewed trademark applications, drafted the appropriate Office Actions on behalf of the agency, and recommended publication approval of applications. Samantha’s experience as a Trademark Examining Attorney for the USPTO gave her valuable insight into the examination process which allows her to now anticipate and navigate potential obstacles more effectively for clients.

Now at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Samantha provides comprehensive trademark protection strategies for brands in several kinds of industries, including cosmetics, food, software, clothing, restaurants, and entertainment services. She manages the full lifecycle of trademark matters: from conducting and analyzing clearance searches, developing filing strategies and determining the appropriate scope and content of applications, responding to USPTO Office Actions, enforcing trademark rights through cease-and-desist letters, and litigation support. Samantha also drafts several kinds of agreements, including intellectual property license agreements, distributorship agreements, and intellectual property assignment agreements.
