John Keary is the Director of AI and Innovation at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, a first-of-its-kind leadership role created to advance the firm's strategic use of artificial intelligence and technology. A member of the firm's senior leadership team, John spearheads the design and implementation of AI and process improvement initiatives across the firm.

Working across all departments, including legal and business functions, John helps enhance efficiency, client value, and competitive advantage. He collaborates with attorneys, practice group leaders, and professional departments—including Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and IT—to integrate cutting-edge tools and workflows into Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s operations.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, John served as Program Manager, Legal AI Integration & Compliance at NYU Langone Health, where he led the development and deployment of AI-enabled legal operations tools and financial operations agents supporting litigation, intellectual property, contract review, financial forecasting and compliance initiatives across the institution.

A licensed attorney, John began his career as an associate at Kim, Cho & Lim LLC in New Jersey, where he managed commercial litigation matters, developed discovery strategies, drafted pleadings and motions, and advised clients on regulatory and risk considerations in transactions and disputes. He also negotiated and assessed lease and land-use agreements.
