We proudly honor the impressive women of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin as part of our series in recognition of Women’s History Month. In this installment, learn more about Real Estate paralegal Orly Sonnenklar.
Why did you choose your profession?
I love a fast paced environment. I have always been interested in real estate and the process of selling and buying buildings. As a paralegal, I perform duties indispensable to the attorneys with whom I work to help facilitate our deals.
What do you like most about your field of work?
I like that each real estate matter has a life unto itself. Handling a matter is, in some ways, similar to running a race. You prepare and organize for weeks and finally get to the finish line: the closing. I always learn something new with each matter.
What advice would you give to young women who want to succeed in the workplace?
Be confident, be open to learning new things and communicate.
What do you like most about your work?
I really enjoy interacting with our clients and working with a team that all have the same goal.
What do you enjoy most about working at TKD?
Everyone at TKD is appreciated and encouraged to grow. I am lucky to work alongside attorneys and colleagues whom I immensely respect on both a professional and personal level.
