[New York, New York] — [December 18, 2025] — Tarter Krinsky & Drogin is pleased to announce that Lewis Kuper has joined the firm as Chair of the Cooperatives & Condominiums Practice and as a Partner in the Real Estate Practice. The appointment underscores Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s continued growth in the New York real estate and cooperative/condominium market.

Mr. Kuper joins the firm from Abrams Fensterman, where he served as Chair of the cooperative and condominium practice and was a partner in the real estate group. He brings decades of experience through prior roles at Goldberg Weprin Finkel Goldstein and at co-op and condo boutique Brill & Meisel.

Mr. Kuper represents sellers, purchasers, landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate. His work includes the purchase and sale of apartment and office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers; retail, office, big box and net leases; and financings, including leasehold mortgages and mezzanine financing. He also advises on high-end residential property transactions, joint venture and operating agreements, and real estate syndication offerings.

Mr. Kuper is widely recognized for his depth of knowledge in New York State Department of Law matters. He has prepared and submitted more than 75 condominium and cooperative offering plans to the Attorney General’s office, including new construction luxury condominiums, rental conversions, affordable housing projects and new construction cooperatives. He also obtains no-filing letters for investment vehicles and provides ongoing counsel to numerous co-op and condo boards.

In recent years, he has represented developers, educational institutions, hospitals and charities in obtaining real estate tax exemptions through the structuring and creation of leasehold condominium regimes.
 

Mr. Kuper is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He earned his law degree from New York Law School and his undergraduate degree from Queens College of the City University of New York.

He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, including the Condominiums and Cooperatives Committee.
