Victoria Galante is Chair of the Commercial Agreements Practice and is a partner in the Firm’s Italy and International Practices, as well as the Retail and Corporate, Securities, and M&A Practices. Victoria serves as a trusted legal advisor to leading corporations and emerging businesses in the U.S., helping them navigate both day-to-day legal issues as well as complex commercial transactions that support strategic business initiatives.

She regularly advises on various types of agreements such as distribution, manufacturing & supply, logistics, sales representative, sponsorship, influencer, and services agreements, among others. Her attention to detail and strong drafting skills allows her to translate complex objectives into clear, effective contracts that minimize risk.

Victoria counsels international companies and their U.S. subsidiaries interested in doing business or expanding their operations in the U.S.  Drawing on her familiarity with the Italian language and culture, Victoria easily grasps her Italian and other international clients’ unique needs and integrates seamlessly with clients’ in-house teams to provide thoughtful and tailored advice.

Having previously worked in-house for Gucci America and its luxury sister brands, Victoria brings an invaluable perspective advising on the legal and reputational issues affecting clients’ brands. In addition to luxury goods and fashion, she serves as outside general counsel to clients across a variety of industries including footwear, lingerie, legwear, beauty and cosmetics, food and beverage, hospitality, furniture and lighting, houseware, architecture and design, and e-commerce.
