Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, a full-service, mid-size law firm announced today that it has expanded its Trusts & Estates practice, continuing its strategic growth and strengthening its client offerings by adding three lawyers. The group handles all aspects of estate and tax planning, as well as estate administration. With the addition of the new lawyers, the capabilities of the Trusts & Estates practice have expanded to include expertise in the representation of the elderly, individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness and their families.

The lawyers joining the firm are:

• Robert Freedman (Partner): Robert concentrates his practice on elder law and special needs planning. He has extensive experience in addressing the legal and financial issues of the elderly, persons with disabilities and their families. A large part of his elder law work involves counseling clients who have received a diagnosis of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS and other debilitating illnesses. Within the special needs portion of the practice, he works with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and mental illness, and their families.

• Barry Lutzky (Partner): Barry focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, estate & trust taxation and elder law & special needs planning. Barry crafts customized solutions to meet the individual needs of his clients. His experience ranges from protecting the assets of the middle class to preserving the wealth of high-net-worth individuals.

• Alexis Gruttadauria (Associate): In addition to addressing traditional estate planning and administration matters, Alexis has extensive experience in the areas of elder care, special needs and mental health law. Alexis often presents to other attorneys, community groups and members of the community concerning the importance of proper planning and finding solutions for problems that arise when planning has not been done.
