Edward Goodman is a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Group whose practice is focused primarily in the area of commercial office leasing. His extensive experience includes work performed on behalf of both landlords and tenants, and spans almost four decades of varying market conditions, enabling Ed to offer clients keen insight in lease negotiations.

In addition to his expertise in office leasing Ed advises on many significant retail, restaurant, and net leases throughout the U.S. His experience outside the U.S. includes the review and negotiation on behalf of international firms, in coordination with local counsel, of leases of office space and entire (build-to-suit) office buildings in India covering more than 10,000,000 square feet in the aggregate in the cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Kolkata.

In addition to the representation of major companies in connection with their leasing needs, Ed’s real estate practice also covers a wide array of matters that include advising clients on real estate issues arising in corporate mergers and acquisitions of varying degrees of complexity.
