Fred C. Klein is counsel in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice. Throughout his fifty-year career, Fred has counseled clients on workplace issues. Fred is well connected in the NYC business community having co-founded the business networking group, Gotham City Networking, Inc., whose many groups and members he continues to nurture and steer.
Fred is a consummate negotiator, creating trust on all sides. He is a shrewd advocate who has operated with strategic determination, always looking for a tangible “win” for his clients. His career has focused on traditional labor law where he has represented a broad range of businesses in their collective bargaining in industries from aviation to cemeteries. He founded trade associations for electrical contractors and steel fabricators who negotiated with their unions as multi-employer bargaining units.
