Fulya Kazbay is chair of the Firm's Turkish Practice and counsel in the International Practice, the Corporate, Securities, and M&A Practice, the Retail, and the Cybersecurity, Data Management & Privacy Practice. Fluent in Turkish and English, Fulya counsels privately held companies and entrepreneurs in connection with corporate and commercial transactions, including assisting both U.S. and foreign (including Turkish) clients on international business transactions as well as information technology, privacy, and data security. Her practice has a dual function, as she leverages her Turkish license to advise U.S. clients in outbound investments in Turkiye.
With her broad understanding of corporate and commercial law, Fulya provides her clients with a holistic approach to their complex cross-border transactions. A trusted adviser to her clients, Fulya guides them on all aspects of setting up entities in the U.S. and often serves as general counsel. She focuses her practice on international law, corporate, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, project and corporate finance, public procurement, technology, privacy, and data security. Combining her cultural competencies with her market intelligence, Fulya partners with her clients to ensure their investments meet their business and strategic goals.
