Construction Chair David Pfeffer was quoted in the New York Post’s article “Judge shutters Chelsea CrossFit location over noise complaints.” Noise complaints from residents of The Steiner Building led to the closing of Brick NYC. The article highlighted David’s similar victory representing the residents in a luxury Tribeca condo at 140 Franklin Street in a $6 million suit against Crunch gym. David noted, “People are spending millions for fairly small apartments and the sponsor promises high-end amenities — and then they want to bring in a low-end physical-fitness facility that’s going to keep [residents] up all night.”
