Juergen Ostertag is chair of the Firm's German Practice and a partner in the International Practice. 

With a singular international perspective and entrepreneurial mindset, Juergen advises clients engaged in critical cross-border transactions across a broad spectrum of geographies and industries, including automotive, biomedical, chemical, consumer products, energy, professional services, technology, and wealth management.

Juergen draws upon his dual German and American background to craft creative and proactive strategies for European companies engaging in foreign direct investments in the United States and U.S. clients doing business abroad. Experienced with the U.S.’s and EU's complex legal systems, Juergen effectively serves global clientele in all aspects of their business goals.

Clients rely on Juergen as a trusted adviser who regularly serves as outside general counsel, guiding clients on a full array of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and structuring, licensing agreements, and transactional and contract matters.
