NEW YORK – September 8, 2023 – Tarter Krinsky & Drogin has joined the American Foreign Lawyer Association (AFLA) at the Patron level, with Chair of the German Practice Juergen R. Ostertag serving as AFLA treasurer.

In this role, Ostertag will serve on the leadership team of the AFLA and collaborate on education programs, events, and networking opportunities to further the organization’s mission.

According to the American Foreign Law Association, the organization’s mission is to promote the understanding and application of foreign, comparative, and international law, to cooperate with other professional organizations involved in such fields, and to support relevant legal research and writing. Many AFLA members have studied or practiced law in more than one country and many are fluent in multiple languages. AFLA members include practitioners, judges, legal scholars, and legal officers of international organizations including the United Nations.
