Lester A. Greenberg is counsel in the Firm’s Real Estate, Trusts & Estates, and Investment Management Practices. With over 40 years of experience, Lester has broad knowledge and experience acting as a trusted business advisor to clients’ personal and business needs. 

Acting as outside general counsel, Lester serves clients in the real estate and investment advisor sector. He handles real estate contracts and negotiations for clients. Notably, Lester has been the attorney for a real estate development company that built more than 1,000 residential condominium units in New York suburbs.

Lester is counsel to several prominent families in New York. Beyond real estate matters, Lester also handles all aspects of estate planning, from preparing will and trusts to business succession planning.

Lester was previously the general counsel for Neuberger Berman Pension Management (from inception to when it had more than $40 billion under management) and was active in the Securities Industry Association’s Law Committee.
