The firm successfully represented the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research in a patent interference against Biogen MA, Inc. followed by transfer of a district court appeal and affirmance by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The Court, among other favorable rulings, ruled that the America Invents Act eliminated district court reviews of patent interferences declared after September 15, 2012.
