Bankruptcy co-chair Scott Markowitz was quoted in a New York Times article on a case involving millionaire San Diego developer Roque De La Fuente. Mr. De La Fuente filed a motion in federal court claiming that a New York City co-op board at the Sherry-Netherland building illegally rejected his cash offer for an apartment being sold by a bankruptcy trustee on the basis of his Mexican heritage.
