Tarter Krinsky & Drogin is pleased to announce the launch of a podcast that will cover cutting-edge and ever-changing legal issues and how they affect our businesses in a practical way. The podcast, called “Law Brief,” is hosted by Litigation partner Rich Schoenstein, and features other Tarter Krinsky & Drogin lawyers who will highlight current issues in their practice areas.
Law Brief provides short discussions of current legal issues of interest, designed for non-experts on the go. The conversations are informal but informative, short but deep, and intended to expose all sides of the issues.
The podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Stitcher, and on Twitter (@lawbriefpodcast), Instagram (@lawbriefpodcast) and Facebook (Law Brief). You can email questions to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first three episodes of Law Brief have been released. In episodes one and two, Rich and Intellectual Property partner Amy Goldsmith discuss trade secrets and confidential information, what makes them different from each other, and what businesses should do to protect them. In the third episode Rich and Labor & Employment Group head Laurent Drogin talk about “Scabby” the Inflatable Union Rat, and current efforts to restrict such union protests. Future episodes take on topics such as the new patent dispute resolution program at Amazon Patent and piercing the corporate veil. We will cover current and relevant topics in many different practice areas, with discussions that do not require a law degree to enjoy.
Rich said, “I am very much looking forward to sharing our first episodes. The format is perfect to discuss any number of critical and timely legal concepts in a manner that is designed to be informative, engaging and concise. There is no reason for lawyers to hog all the law.”
