Tarter Krinsky & Drogin recently represented PB Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of Deutsche Postbank AG, in an $85 million loan to two entities owned by Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc.
The loan is secured by several office and retail buildings located in the Harmon Meadow East center in Secaucus, NJ. Tenants of the center include: NBA Properties, Inc.; Scholastic Inc.; Kenneth Cole; and Ernst & Young.
“This refinancing confirms the availability of capital for solid properties with good sponsorship,” says William W. Weisner, a Partner in the Real Estate and Banking and Finance Practices, who handled this transaction for the firm.
