Perry L. Cohen is a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice. With over 40 years of transactional real estate experience, clients appreciate Perry’s well-rounded business perspective when structuring a transaction. 

Perry represents landlords, owners, tenants, lenders, developers, and asset managers from small businesses to large institutions. He advises on all facets of transactional real estate matters, including commercial and residential real estate development, purchases and sales, commercial real estate leasing, and multi-level secured and unsecured financing arrangements.

Perry is also known for his experience handling highly regulated condominium and cooperative offering plan preparation, including creating and drafting of documents, which is required by the New York State Office of the Attorney General.

He has deep knowledge in investment tax credit finance and other tax-subsidized transactions for the affordable housing sector. He was involved in one of the first affordable housing condominium projects in Harlem representing the sponsor, which was heralded as an innovation for affordable housing in New York City.
