In line with the Firm’s commitment to growth, Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s  Rocco A. Cavaliere  has been elevated to Vice Chair of the Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Practice. Cavaliere will support the group’s growth, practice management, and market presence in this new role.

A member of the Firm for over a decade, Cavaliere represents clients in workouts or bankruptcy relief. He works with distressed companies and private wealth clients helping them preserve enterprise value, restructure their obligations, and achieve other objectives. Recently, he partnered with Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice Co-Chairs Scott S. Markowitz and Alex Spizz  in representing a hotel client in a Chapter 11 case in successfully secured an agreement with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation to provide much-needed housing and food to asylum seekers.

Skilled in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, Cavaliere represents debtors, creditor committees, trustees, unsecured creditors, secured creditors, landlords, purchasers, license parties, shareholders and corporate officers and directors, and other parties in interest in protecting their rights and preserving value in a bankruptcy case or in an out-of-court restructuring. He is also a mediator on the Mediator Panels for the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York as well as the Eastern District of New York.
