HRH Construction LLC filed a Chapter 11 petition with the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York on September 6, 2009. HRH is a well-known general contractor and construction management firm, which has been in operation for almost 100 years. Many of the most prominent structures in New York City have been built by HRH’s team, including the Trump International Hotel, the African Burial Ground National Monument and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Interventional Operating Room Platform.

The Creditors’ Committee selected Tarter Krinsky & Drogin as its counsel to represent it in HRH’s Chapter 11 case. The Creditors’ Committee consists of a broad spectrum of HRH’s unsecured creditors.

Scott S. Markowitz, head of the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice, and David Pfeffer, Chair of the firm’s Construction Practice, are leading the team representing the Creditors’ Committee.
