The firm is representing NYC Constructors Inc. and its subsidiary in their respective bankruptcy cases. The company, which is installing steel at the 3 World Trade Center tower, together with its subsidiary, have filed for Chapter 11 protection and the debtors intend to sell substantially all of their assets to Banker Steel for over $7 Million. A New York bankruptcy judge approved interim post-petition financing of up to $2 million to ease liquidity issues and allow the debtors to continue operating through consummation of the intended sale. Bankruptcy co-chair Scott Markowitz and attorneys Arthur Goldstein and Rocco Cavaliere are representing the debtors. Scott was quoted in Law360 regarding the case.
