NEW YORK – February 21, 2024 –Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Labor & Employment Partner Tara Toevs Carolan will be a featured speaker at ALM’s 2024 Complex Claims & Litigation Forum, taking place in Las Vegas from February 26-28.

This year’s Complex Claims & Litigation Forum will focus on the principles of “Prevent, Prepare, and Prevail” for both insurers and litigators when dealing with complex claims cases. The event will bring together insurers, claim executives, corporate counsel, and litigators to discuss litigation and risk management strategies, best practices, and technology to avoid litigation and claims processing, and emerging risks to be aware of.

On Thursday, February 27, Carolan will serve as a panelist during the session “Talent Two-Parter: Thought Leadership on Recruitment, Retention and Mentorship.” As a member of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and mentor in the Firm’s associate mentoring program, she values the personal and professional advancement of her colleagues. During the panel, Carolan and other industry leaders will discuss talent retention and professional development initiatives. For the second part of the session, Carolan will moderate the mentorship portion, which will feature mentors and mentees as they share their mentorship experiences and its impact on their careers.

Carolan is a partner in Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s Labor & Employment Practice, where she counsels businesses and employers on compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour, employment, and labor laws. She handles employment relations and agreements, non-discrimination and anti-harassment training, and internal investigations for her clients.  She also represents clients in the defense of wage and hour and employment discrimination claims.
