Brian Gordon is an associate in the Firm's Labor and Employment Practice, where he delivers strategic counsel and practical solutions to help businesses navigate complex workplace challenges and maintain compliance across all aspects of employment law.
Brian's practice advises on the full spectrum of workplace issues facing today's employers. He regularly counsels clients on issues regarding compliance and risk management, including those related to:
- Wage and hour compliance and defense
- Leave management and workplace accommodations under the ADA, FMLA, and state equivalent
- Workplace policy development and handbook creation
- Layoff planning and WARN Act compliance
Brian also advises on comprehensive employee relations issues related to:
- Discrimination and harassment prevention strategies and policy implementation
- Employment, separation, and covenant agreements
- Onboarding and offboarding process optimization
- Workplace investigation protocols
Brian actively supports Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s litigation practice, representing employers in federal and state courts as well as administrative proceedings before the EEOC, DOL, and state equivalents. His litigation experience includes drafting pleadings, conducting comprehensive legal research, managing complex discovery, and assisting in motion practice.
Working closely with the Firm's ERISA practice, Brian also counsels clients on employee benefits compliance matters and assists with litigation involving delinquent contributions, subrogation claims, and fiduciary duty disputes.
