Tarter Krinsky & Drogin has promoted five attorneys firmwide, including one to partner and four to counsel, as the Firm continues its recent period of strategic growth. These elevations span a number of major service offerings.

Counsel Marco Giovine  has been promoted to partner.

Associates Victoria Galante, Brittany K. Lazzaro, Federica Rigato, and Alexander Tiktin  have been promoted to counsel.

Giovine, who was the first attorney in the Firm’s Los Angeles office, is part of the International, Italy, Corporate and M&A, and Amazon & E-Commerce  Practices. As a corporate transactional attorney, Giovine advises American, European, Italian, and Latin American clients on a wide range of issues including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, joint ventures, contracts, and corporate governance. A native Italian speaker fluent in both English and Spanish, he guides international entities in conducting business in the United States.

Galante is a member of the Firm’s Italy and International Practices, as well as the Retail and Corporate and M&A Practices. She focuses her practice on Italian companies and their U.S. subsidiaries interested in doing business or expanding their operations in the U.S. Leveraging her previous experience working with some of the world’s leading brands, she often acts as outside general counsel and guides clients on a broad range of matters related to their business and commercial transactions.

A member of the Litigation Practice, Lazzaro handles complex and sensitive business disputes on behalf of clients in the financial, real estate, retail, construction, intellectual property, and employment sectors. She is actively involved in all stages of litigation, from initial case analysis and strategy through trial and appeals, and also handles both mediations and arbitrations. Lazzaro’s practice includes guiding clients on contract, joint venture, and condominium/cooperative disputes, defamation, employment claims, fraud and business torts, and intellectual property rights.

Rigato is a member of the Firm’s Italy and International Practices, as well as the Retail, Corporate, Capital Markets and M&A, Intellectual Property, and Cybersecurity, Data Management & Privacy Practices. Leveraging her dual Italian and American background, she partners with clients who are establishing or expanding their businesses in the U.S. Additionally, she handles trademark clearance, licensing, and product labeling issues.

A member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Practice, Tiktin counsels clients on complex chapter 11 restructuring matters, including representation of both debtors and creditors. He has specific expertise in SBA lending, including EIDL, PPP, and 7(a) loans. He also acts as general counsel for clients in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, and other entertainment venues, leveraging the Firm’s wide range of experience to advise hospitality clients regarding all their legal issues. As a seasoned litigator, he advocates for his clients in both Federal and New York State courts, representing plaintiffs and defendants in prosecuting and defending high-stakes business disputes.
