Emily Ayoob is chair of the Firm’s French Practice and a partner in the International Practice. Leveraging her unique bicultural legal training, Emily serves as a trusted advisor to international businesses in all aspects of their day-to-day operations and strategic long-term growth.

Fluent in French and English, Emily bridges the gap for her clients by navigating both the multifaceted legal and cultural complexities inherent in cross-border transactions. She represents entities of all sizes, providing holistic business and legal counseling to a range of domestic and international companies at various stages of their life cycle. Acting as outside general counsel, Emily guides international clients through issues that arise from acquiring, starting, or conducting business in the U.S., including the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, business formations, contract drafting and negotiation, trademark prosecution and enforcement, and commercial real estate. Her clients rely on the breadth and depth of her knowledge and experience to advise on operational matters that inform their business’ success.

Emily counsels clients in all sectors, spanning from medical devices and healthcare, fashion and luxury goods, agri-food industries, consumer goods, technology, creative agencies, real estate, and design.

Emily began her legal career as a law clerk at French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Paris and New York offices, where she worked on a variety of corporate and financial regulatory matters.
