Hagit Marcovich-Feder is a senior compliance administrator and paralegal in the Firm's Labor and Employment Practice and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She assists counsel and partners in their representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation of cases in federal and state courts, and representation of employers before administrative agencies, as well as in arbitrations.

Hagit has worked in this field since 2004. She concentrates on audits relating to wage and hour and ERISA claims and performs wage and hour and ERISA audits for a wide range of industries, including construction firms, fast food chains and restaurants, supermarkets, a major cruise line, and food processing plants. She has broad experience dealing with FDA investigations and government contract claims for contractors. Over the years, she has developed constructive working relationships with benefit fund auditors and state and federal department of labor investigators in cases involving underpayment findings, violations, and penalties.

Working hands-on with accountants and government agency investigators, Hagit has assisted numerous businesses in achieving compliance with wage and hour and record keeping practices and mitigating the likelihood of litigation. She is a firm believer that the first step an employer must take when facing an investigation or lawsuit is to come into compliance to prevent future non-compliance issues. She also provides litigation support and support to other areas of general commercial practice.

As a certified OSHA examiner, Hagit can provide clients with assessing safety and hazardous conditions in the workplace.
