Tarter Krinsky & Drogin Partner Morghan Richardson has been named to Crain’s New York’s 2023 Notable Women in Law list.

The Notable Women in Law list honors the top women lawyers in the New York metropolitan area who have made significant contributions professionally and within the community. This year’s full list can be found here.

Richardson’s noteworthy experience expands beyond her client work. As a member of the executive board for the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Women in Law Section, she helped in the Section’s effort to petition for NYSBA’s recent policy position on women’s healthcare, a result of SCOTUS’ Dobbs decision in June 2022, leading to NYSBA’s first policy position on the issue. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, as well as teaches law school classes on divorce law and modern family law issues to the next generation of lawyers.

“I’m honored to be recognized among this group of amazing women attorneys who use our positions and experience to better those around us,” Richardson said. “Just as I approach every one of my clients with compassion and dignity, I strive to do purposeful work in my community, whether it’s through mentoring, professional organizations, or educating women on their family law options. This recognition is a testament to all of these efforts and I will continue to push the bar for my clients, my career, and my community.”

Richardson, co-chair of the Firm’s Matrimonial & Family Law Practice, represents high-net worth individuals, celebrities, and award-winning innovators and their families in all aspects of domestic and family law. As a litigator, she counsels clients through complex divorce, mediations, custody matters, and other family disputes. She regularly handles cases involving alimony, collaborative divorce, LGBTQ family law litigation, orders of protection, parental coordination, access and visitation, pre-nuptials and post-nuptial agreements, and separation agreements.
