NEW YORK (January 25, 2021) – Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, LLP announced today that Anna Taruschio has joined its full service International Group. Her arrival enhances the firm’s capabilities in catering to an international clientele and in representing clients on cross-border matters. Fluent in both English and Italian, Anna will focus on assisting our Italy Practice and representing our clients based in Italy doing business in the United States.
Anna has extensive experience representing U.S. and international companies in complex cross-border matters. In particular, her practice centers on Labor & Employment and she frequently counsels employers on litigation avoidance and risk management practices, compliance with federal, state, and local labor and wage laws, as well as compliance with foreign laws and regulations. In addition, Anna advises senior management on operations matters to align policies with city, state and federal regulatory frameworks.
Further to her Labor & Employment focus, Anna also advises in complex cross-border matters. She regularly assists in drafting and negotiating contracts, commercial vendor agreements, licensing agreements and other related documents. Anna also counsels clients in commercial transactions, corporate restructuring, compliance, corporate governance, labor and employment, litigation and arbitration, and privacy and data use.

Anna brings significant in-house experience to the firm, having served as Associate General Counsel at New York University, as Agency Attorney in the General Counsel’s Office of the New York City Department of Education (the Department), and most recently as Chief-of-Staff and Counsel at New York City School Support Services, Inc., a not-for-profit company with more than 8,000 employees, created and funded by the Department. Before her in-house roles, Anna worked in private practice at two leading law firms: Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP (in its Financial Restructuring Group) and Allen & Overy LLP (in its Banking & Finance/Restructuring Group).
