Based in New York, DiStefano will enhance the Firm’s business and transactional capabilities, advising clients on complex corporate matters and strategic growth initiatives.

Over the course of his career, DiStefano has earned a stellar reputation as a strategic counselor to businesses at all stages of growth, from startups to publicly traded companies. His experience includes corporate structuring, private equity transactions, regulatory compliance and commercial contracts, with a strong focus on corporate and securities matters, including capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex business transactions.

DiStefano has advised a diverse range of clients, including domestic and foreign private issuers, underwriters, broker-dealers and key corporate stakeholders such as directors, executive officers, in-house counsel and entrepreneurs. His deep understanding of securities law enables him to guide clients through public and private equity and debt securities offerings, corporate governance, SEC filings and compliance, and securities exchange regulations. DiStefano also provides valuable guidance in matrimonial matters involving complex business interests.  Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, DiStefano was a shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC.

He has helped clients navigate U.S. securities law requirements affecting foreign private issuers and has provided counsel on a broad spectrum of U.S. corporate law matters. His broad industry experience includes pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, medical devices, personal care, financial services, retail, REITs, marketing, media. recreation and entertainment, food & beverage and more.
