Immigration partner Roxanne Levine and Labor and Employment partner Richard Steer were featured speakers at the Lawyers Associated Worldwide U.S./Canada Employment Group Meeting. Roxanne Levine presented “U.S. General Immigration Concepts – Visa and Permanent Residence” and addressed various topics, including the non-immigrant visa process, B-1 and B-2 visitors, the visa waiver program, H-1B visa status, O-1 and O-2 visas as well as permanent resident status. Richard Steer presented “Best Practices for Workplace Investigations” and addressed reasons to investigate, ethical issues, practical measures and deposition questions.
